Meet Jon Bennet t
Jon Bennett has worn many hats throughout his career; campus ministry director, associate/teaching pastor at a megachurch, church planter, nonprofit leader, consultant, and strategist. As a result of drinking from the firehose, he has gained the ability to see the potential in challenges and the opportunity in people.
Jon is a communicator, leadership coach, senior level generosity strategist, and has worked with some of the fastest growing and most dynamic churches and ministries in America. He has decades of experience partnering with dynamic leaders to raise millions of dollars towards everything from building expansions to outreach programs on college campuses.
After 20 years of pastoral ministry, Jon transitioned to become Senior Consultant with a financial services group and coached over 50 churches through a capital campaign process resulting in millions of dollars raised. Building on that foundation, Jon was called on to help Ministry Ventures scale across the nation in 2011.
As the CEO of Ministry Ventures, he led a team that simplified the “business side” of faith-based non-profits. Jon’s team saw the incredible opportunity in enhancing the effectiveness of causes and ministries in ways that any leader can implement easily and immediately. The ministry impact grew from coaching 13 ministries in 2011 to 365 in 2016 in the five years under Jon’s leadership.
Jon has a degree in Communications from Michigan State University and a Master’s in Theology from Reformed Theological Seminary. Jon and Beth live in Atlanta, have been married for 32 years, and have three amazing adult children.
